For over a century, We have been at the forefront of bespoke tailoring, crafting garments that blend tradition and innovation.

The Beginnings
of a Tailoring Tradition
Our story begins in the 1940s in Shanghai with Mr. Hui AiWa's vision of fine tailoring. As Shanghai blossomed into a fashion centre in the 1920s and 1930s, he established his workshop in 1945, serving the city’s vibrant tailoring industry.

FOUNDING STORY

Our Journey Through Time
Shanghai's rise as a fashion hub saw Western-style clothing flourish. Mr. Hui AiWa and other tailors perfected their craft in this dynamic period.

Mr. Hui opened his first workshop in Shanghai.
To escape the political turmoil, he relocated to Hong Kong, settling at Mirador Mansion, Tsim Sha Tsui.
In partnership with his third son, Simon Hui, Mr. Hui opened his first retail shop in Mei Foo, Kowloon.
William Hui, the eldest son, opened Regent Shop at the Hyatt Hotel (now isquare), targeting high-end tourists.
Relocation to The Peninsula Hotel elevated its prestige and clientele, serving over 20,000 global clients
Under Jack Hui’s leadership, the shop expanded to TaiKoo Place.
Social challenges led to the closure of TaiKoo Place, with William continuing operations in the U.S.
Eric Hui joined to innovate and sustain the family legacy.
